I read this article today and I have to ask, is this really what we want to have happening here?

So much for better healthcare south of the border anyway. 1.1 billion dollars spent on health care for people who are not even citizens of this country. I wonder what happens to an American citizen that walks into that hospital but cannot afford to have the baby they have?

OH, I know, they get hounded by credit collectors, have their credit ruined, can no longer afford to pay for their homes, and ultimately after everything is lost, they MIGHT get some of the bill covered by Medicaid.

However, walk in with no ID, no job and you are not a citizen? Well the government will pay for that.

One reason I cannot vote for a democrat. Obama and Hilary both talk big about how they are going to provide coverage for every person in this country, but somehow they are going to get those 1.1 trillion dollars per year to pay for it only from the rich? How do those numbers work out?

Of course, no one in the media bothers to ask that question, why? Well either because they are behind the candidate and do not want to make them look bad, or they simply do not have the intelligence to figure it out. I guess we could always follow Krugman's rationed healthcare model so we could get our costs down, but I personally think the first place to start is the 10% we spend on people who are not even citizens.
