Didn't know most of that (the level of financial ties we had with them). Does CBS archive 60 minutes broadcasts, anyone know? I'd like to see that episode.

Of course I don't expect the status quo to change much very soon.
I believe Bush 43 has said before to the effect anyone supporting or
harboring terrorists is also an enemy.
Kind of puts us in a strange position, doesn't it?

It's handy if you are president because you can just say "Pakistan does not harbor terrorists" if you don't want Pakistan to be your enemy. Then, if you change your mind, just say "Pakistan is harboring terrorists," and commence bombing. It's an example of "War Made Easy." More on that here:
