And first Blind governor. I don't know why, but that strikes me as
pretty cool. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_paterson I'll pretty much be wearing sackcloth and ashes and wrenching out my hair regardless of who wins in November, but I have to admit that I'd love to see certain "never happened before" things happen in a first woman or first black president..... Shame I can't stand either one of them, or the Republican nominee. Heck.... she's not acquitted herself as well as I hoped, so I don't see it happening even in future, but I would have given a vote for Condoleezza. Actually it's not so much that she's acquitted herself poorly, just that she's tied to an awful administration and hasn't done much to really shine... plus from all I hear she's none to popular with the black populous. A shame.. she's cool on a lot of levels (Music, languages, academic achievements)... Of course, could the leader of the world's most powerful nation (by some estimates) be named "with sweetness"? (Con dolcezza). Mike Miller wrote: This is his best strategy at this point. So NY gets its first black governor. --Mike -- Christian M.
