Yup; I just came back from there on my pre-dinner stroll. A lot of
Pike's Market does seem to roll up at 5:00, but the Pale Ale at Pike's
Brewery was pretty good. (Note: I now find that Flat Branch in
Columbia is vastly under-rated compared to a lot of places.)

Seattle actually has a much more interesting downtown than I would
have thought. They must hold the record for the greatest number of
coffee joints...and I thought DC was was pretty thoroughly
caffeinated.
