As you probably heard, Elliot Spitzer, Democrat and Governor of New
York, is known to have paid more than $4,000 for about an hour with a
prostitute. He also seems to have done it more than once and possibly
many times. The big concern is that it wasn't really his money. He
isn't a billionaire. Was someone buying him out?
Dunno. My guess is that this story is going to get a lot uglier before
it gets any prettier. So I happened to see the NY Post (I believe) cover
headline on this today:
HO NO!
It's not a serious paper, but they basically aced that headline.
It isn't a serious headline either, but it is a funny headline. Jon
Stewart tried to come up with something on short notice but he couldn't
quite figure out how to use "Spitzer Swallows".
OK, on a different topic, I'm in Seattle tonight and tomorrow night for
a meeting. Anything particularly cool to do if you're basically stuck
downtown (I'm staying at the Washington Athletic Club aka "the WAC")?
I say walk down Union Street toward Puget Sound. Before you hit the water
you should see Fisherman's Warf, a bunch of seafood places, the Aquarium
and other interesting stuff. We hit the aquarium in 2003:

Another option is to walk along 6th Ave to the Space Needle (about 1 mile)
and that puts you at "Experience Music" and the Hendrix museum. Some of
that might be good. The Geary buildings there are interesting, not
necessarily in a good way (I thought got a little weird with the colors).
I love his design of our art museum though:
