Actually, it doesn't have any real effect on me except that it has an
absolutely huge effect on my brother, who was devastated. I generally
only know just enough about the Superbowl to make sure I can have
semi-intelligent things to say at work just before and after the
event. I have also found a way to optimize my (non)viewing of the
game, which is to catch the last two minutes of the first half and
then as much of the fourth quarter as I need to see to make sure I
know the result.

That would be a good idea.

You can test the Jets defensive line all you like, but it won't tell
you anything about what the Giants were taking. :-)
