This border issue really puzzles me. Main-stream politicians seems
somewhat reluctant to put up this fence. However this is also a time
when politicians are scrambling to put security in place, so that old
women get searched in airports, etc. Furthermore, despite the obvious
apparent lack of any security at the US-Mexican border, I have never
heard of terrorists using this way to get in.
Why is this? The conspiratorial part of my mind almost suggests that
the US government and the illegal immigrant traders have a secret, tacit
deal, where the US government will go light on them, but the illegal
immigrant traders will immediately turn in anyone who seems the least
bit like a terrorist.
This is a wild theory. But still, there has to be something going on
here that we don't understand!
