Why do reporters suggest that this loss should be devastating for Romney
and for Obama? Romney lost with 32% against McCain's 37%, but he beat
McCain handily in Iowa and in Wyoming. Similarly, Obama lost with 36%
against Clinton's 39%, but Obama beat Clinton solidly in Iowa. Today's
result is obviously good for Clinton and McCain, but I can't see it
hurting Romney or Obama much.
Obama is quite a guy, but if I hear him say "hope" or "change" one more
time, I might scream! ;-) Inspiration is great, but I'm more into
substance than style.
By the way, Huckabee came in 3rd and he said he'd be happy with 4th
because he was ranked 6th a week ago.
