In this case I still think they are talking about original resolution.
 Most "HD" video I see are <720p resolution.  (the only real HD res
videos I've download are movie trailers and they are giant files
(h.264 I think)  Most video players will show the resolution numbers,
or in windows you can use GSpot or VLC.
