I think abortion is probably #1 for Christian conservatives. Some people
on this list might not know that I am an atheist whose sister is a
Christian conservative -- just thought I'd clarify that.

Giuliani didn't even try to do anything with Iowa. But how does that make
sense? If he thought he'd lose there in the caucuses, I guess it makes
sense to let it go and concentrate on New Hampshire, but what does that
say about his chances if he wins the nomination? I think he cannot win
the presidency, so I hope he wins the nomination! ;-)
Similarly, I worry about Clinton. Can she win the presidency? I'm not
sure. There is a lot not to like about her. I think there are a few big
things in her past that may return to haunt her. I also don't like some
of her ideas and I'd rather see Obama or Edwards in the White House. An
Obama-Edwards ticket or Edwards-Obama ticket would be ideal for me.
Ditto, Mike. I like this ticket as well. Ideally if name recognition were not as important, I'd like to see Richardson or possibly Mark Warner (that the correct name? - former Virginia governor), on the ticket, but Obama and Edwards sounds cool too.
Interesting, I starting liking Obama's chances even more when Kucinich said to support Obama is he wasn't viable, and then rumors of Biden and Richardson saying the same thing came.
Kucinich I think was/is like a Ralph Nader, where a lot of real progressives wanted him first, but he didn't have the name recognition or stature to get momentum, plus his ideas are way too progressive for the
U.D. right now, unfortunately.
My point about him is even though Kucinich got very little support, I think him saying to make Obama second choice might have pulled some people away from Edwards, who ironically, Nader said he might support recently.
