I know very little about Huckabee. But I saw him on Jay Leno the

but sharp without coming across as sharp, if you know what I mean. On
the face of it, he seems to be my ideal combination - strong Christian
values with care and compassion for the poor.
Excellent. He used to be a Baptist minister, so he's probably not
faking his Christianity (you can never prove that someone is doing that
but they sometimes make me wonder). He really should be the attractive
candidate for the Christian voters. Romney is a Mormon. Thompson used
to be a lobbyist for Planned Parenthood. Giuliani is pro-choice. The
Christians have nowhere else to go but Huckabee.
He talked a bit about his experience of being a baptist minister. He
said that the experience really brought him very close to real life, and
the real difficulties that people face.
I have friends who are pastors, and if you do the job properly, you
really come in contact with a lot of very difficult and tragic situations.
And yes, before Huckabee came along, I really felt I was in a very
difficult place.
