Another way to put it is that there is no imminent threat, and if Iran
ever develops a bomb, they won't do it for a full ten years.  I feel
pretty safe right now.

Then you should have felt safe before. It had been well established that Iran was ten years away from developing a weapon. The point was to be proactive about destroying their program while there was an opportunity to destroy it. In ten years, the program would be so large that it would be nearly impossible to stop them.
That conclusion suits you and makes you feel better, right?  I mean, how
else could you come up with that as your conclusion?  Here is the first
paragraph of the article:

No, my point again was glossed over by you. I have not heard anyone of recent years saying that Iran had a nuclear weapons program. The liberals in this country have a selective hearing when it comes to this. You THINK you are hearing nuclear weapons program when someone mentions nuclear program.

The concern has ALWAYS been the number of centrifuges they have which COULD lead to a nuclear weapon. I have been looking for any article that shows where Bush has said that Iran is striving for nuclear weapons dated after 2005. I have not found any yet.

Even Hilary is on the record as saying the very same thing Bush has, so somehow this is pointed at Bush only? You people really are out of your mind with hatred.

Another point. We have known about this since August of 2005, so really, what is so new here?
