I think we should wait until they start developing nukes before we do
something about it. Otherwise we're attacking *everyone.*
The funny thing about the news today is that *every* US intelligence
agency concluded that Iran stopped developing nukes in 2003, but our
National Security Advisor said this about a policy that was implemented in
2005: "It confirms that we were right to be worried about Iran seeking to
develop nuclear weapons." No, it doesn't, it confirms that we were wrong
in 2005. That's not such a horrible mistake, and it is better to err on
the side of caution, but it was a mistake.
Of course 9/11 never happened and people around the world only hate us
because of our war against Iraq.
That's true for most people in the world. The sympathy we had after 9/11
was squandered. It's really amazing how far we fell and how quickly.
The cause is obvious: Extremely bad diplomacy and naive foreign policy.
People that don't want to protect their own wellbeing are ready to win
the Darwin award. Those people can sit on their ass and feel all happy
with their butterflies and flowers. Meanwhile, people that actually
understand that these people want to kill us all will do something to
protect us - including protecting the people who just want to pretend
the world is all shiny and happy.
You write as if you don't know anything. No one in a serious position
within our goverment has ever said that we should do nothing about 9/11 or
the continuing threat of Islamic groups. No one, never. So unless you
can name a name and give a quote and a source, you're just talking b.s.
