I suppose we should wait until they have nukes and are attacking us before doing anything about it? Then the people who are now whining about how ar is bad will be whining because the government didn't do anything to protect them. It's not about who is the good guys and who is the bad guys. It's about what is good for us. Of course 9/11 never happened and people around the world only hate us because of our war against Iraq. The idea that people might try to hurt us is all a delusion created by warmongers in our government.
People that don't want to protect their own wellbeing are ready to win the Darwin award. Those people can sit on their ass and feel all happy with their butterflies and flowers. Meanwhile, people that actually understand that these people want to kill us all will do something to protect us - including protecting the people who just want to pretend the world is all shiny and happy.
