And also the Crash Test Dummies. And that band from Vancouver whose
name I always forget. Meanwhile, Neil Young and Joni Mitchell were
huge, but Steppenwolf is a two-hit band. Alanis Morissette is dwarfed
in popularity by Celine Dion, who I believe has possibly out-sold all
of the other Canadian acts you mentioned, maybe even combined.
Meanwhile, although the band is from Canada, the front man grew up in
Texas and then went to a fancy private school in New England. Canadian
is really a relative term. :-)
