No doubt on supporting open source, but using and supporting are different. I am simply using it, I won't be trying to debug anything (lack of time) and from my experience azureus was a hog and had multiple problems on the 3 machines I ran it on, so that was the basis for my decision. I don't know if Azureus supports it, but I also like having 'Web UI' feature that μtorrent offers.
