So we have been watching a fair bit of The Office recently (we were
given the UK version on DVD and got hooked, then watched the US version
on Netflix). NBC is now streaming this, among other shows, for free on
their website. This beats trying to watch the thing at 9 PM on
Thursdays, so we gave it a whirl last weekend. The good news is that the
video quality is certainly acceptable; better than DVD but not quite HD.
How do you know it is better than DVD? To me it looks a little worse, but
similar. More important question: Is there a way to view it full screen?
Or do you use some kind of zoom feature?
Related question: Can you watch them OK under Linux? If so, what are you
using?
Thanks for telling us about those shows.
Mike
