So the thing is, Mizzou sometimes makes "suggestions" on behalf of
departments that honestly couldn't care less for the most part. In
theory, Psychology suggested/required Windows, but I don't think
anybody in the department cared, with the possible exception of maybe
one of the stats classes, but even there I think there were
work-arounds.

I personally used to accept electronicly submitted assignments in any
format I could read; my only consistent failure was some (older?)
version of Word Perfect. My last year there, I think the percentage
submitting .odt was up to almost 10% of the total, for what that's
worth.
