Mike, the point with this was simply this:

 

You cannot compare how people feel about the Iraq war today, to what the nation's feeling was when the decision to enter the conflict was made.

 

You said: Most Americans oppose the war, in case you didn't know.

 

That statement has exactly 0 relevance to whether the Iraq war should have been entered or not, which is the subject at hand. Thank you for your time, now get back on point.
