Probably save yourself a lot of headache and power consumption by just
using one of the Linksys routers and if the factory firmware doesn't
do it for you, flash it with one of the Linux-based open source
versions. I've used 2 or 3 of these and not had any problems. The
newer Linksys routers no longer can run the open source stuff, but
they are putting out a special version (and of course charging a
premium) that will.
