I would much rather see everyone serve in the military with all of them
being forced to go to war, if their is a war, regardless of parental
income or political office.  If that were the law, there would be no wars
for a long, long time.  When the people declaring war and the people dying
in the war are not relatives, you are going to see more war.

Again, this statement is not worthy of you Mike. It seems like you are saying that all wars are caused by the United States and that as long as we don't send our kids off to war, then there will be less wars. That is an utterly idiotic statement. There is always going to be a country out there that is going to be willing to send their kids to war even if we are not. So places like Somalia and Kosovo are always going to have to have some kind of intervention.

Who are we going to send then? I don't think anyone makes the decision to send men off possibly to their death lightly. You and mama Sheehan make it sound like our politicians, and Bush in particular, are in the White House making decisions with blatant disregard for the outcome. I cannot subscibe to that theory, and if I could, then I woud be more worried about the Democrats than the Republicans in this matter.
