Around here the unlocked E61 seems to run just over $300. Most phones
in the US seem to have arbitrary limits placed on them by carriers,
which is unfortunate. Is the GPS included on the base model? I didn't
see it listed here:

So what does a voice + data plan run over on the other side of the pond?

That said, it's interesting that you say the browser is good because
it's built on Apple's Webkit / Webcore project which itself is based
on Open Source KHTML rendering code. Webkit is apparently now doing
really well in mobile/wireless devices because it works well and the
code base is smaller than something like Gecko.
