I guess more accurately you could say that Google is interested in
building the OS and some applications for a cell phone, I believe in
large part to make sure that they will have an inside track on getting
users to use their services (Windows is already doing this, as is Palm
and now Apple among others.)
Fascinating. Just in time to compete with Neo 1973. The Google phone is
said to run Linux also.
