Of course Rove recently stepped down and now Gonzalez has done the same.
Neither development is surprising.
Rove probably wants to go work on someone else's campaign, perhaps
secretly because association with Rove is probably harmful.
Gonzalez stuck around about three months longer than I expected him to.
He's tough, but he's about the worst USAG we've had in my lifetime and I'm
very happy to see him go. Of course, the Justice Dept is a mess. Some
Republicans blame the Democrats for this -- does anyone believe that?!
