Actually the conspiracy kooks use this as a reason that the government is hiding it. To them, his apparent inaction at the school proves that he knew all along that the attacks were taking place and was not surprised at all. Which allowed him to sit for some seven minutes and calmly continue reading.

I never thought that told me anything about his possible involvement in a conspiracy, but it does make me think he is not very wise. Did he really wait 7 minutes to leave the room after being told "America is under attack?" That's about 5 minutes too many in my book.
