I wouldn't recommend any comedians or other entertainers as sources of information about materials, engineering, melting points or any other aspect of physical, chemical, biological or social sciences.


I was watching an old interview with the Beatles a while ago and they were pointing out that they are always asked about all sorts of social issues as if they have some special expertise. The same thing happens to movie stars. Once they realize that people actually care what they think, they start to study a little, just a little, and then shoot their mouths off. I don't imagine this will change any time soon!
