This is all idle conjecture at this point. I would surprised if Thompson

So you think that he might believe that being Vice President would hurt
his chances at winning the Presidency?
The nice thing about Thompson, an actor, is that he is really good at
faking genuineness, and that is really useful skill in politics,
Yeah, Clinton was really good at this. Reagan might have been the same
way, the Bushs not so much.
Reagan was a pro, of course.
especially when your goal is to help your corporate friends and the
very wealthy to screw the American people. They just might pull it
off!
I am not sure where you woud come up with this idiotic statement. Do you
know anything about Thompson and his politics or are you being your
typical close-minded self?
He worked as a Washington lobbyist for a total of two decades. One of his
great victories resulted in the massively devastating S&L scandal of the
late 1980s. He also worked for Westinghouse and GE, both major defense
contractors.
If you want to manipulate the feelings of the American people for profit
-- call Fred Thompson, he'll help. When you look at him and here his
voice, don't you get a feeling that he is solid and trustworthy? He's
pretty good at what he does: Scamming people.
