Huh? Since when? Where did you get that one?

The person who most famously said that about a gazillion times was Ronald Reagan during the Iran-Contra hearings. He might have had early-stage Alzheimer's but his family denies this (though I don't know how they would know). The possibility that Regean had Alzheimer's disease was a running joke in the Doonesbury cartoon strip, but that was way before we really believed he might have it.

Recently, the claim was used many times by Alberto Gonzalez. He should be able to recall things that happened just a few months ago, and his inability to remember is evidence of incompetence in his job that has concerned many people, even Republicans.
