Mike,
It is entirely possible that you only downloaded SiCKO without uploading
anything- you could have gotten it from a Web server, been passed it in
a chat room, or gotten it from a newsgroup binary server. USUALLY you
have to upload as well as download to use peer-to-peer, so I am guessing
that you didn't use that. Besides, some people think that merely having
a P2P app installed is admission of guilt.
What the courts could do to you is subpoena you for your source of the
file. That party DID upload it and are liable. You are likely not liable
for much. But if you don't tell where you got it from, you could be held
for obstruction of justice and fined.
