I was just noticing that our new letterhead says this on it: Driven to
Discover^SM (the SM is in superscript). I looked that up. It's called a
service mark. We have a web page to promote our new "service":
http://www.discover.umn.edu/
I think I'll develop my own service mark: Driven to Distraction^SM.
I'm learning so much these days (in my distracted state)...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Service_mark
The service mark symbol (SM) is found in Unicode at U+2120. The HTML
entity for this symbol is thus ℠ or ℠.
