Can we put strychnine in the boss' coffee? I'm a firm believer that death can fix damn near any form of evil. I'm just a really nice guy that wants to kill anyone I think of us being evil or extremely stupid. ;)

Kidding aside, socially we're suffering a lot from poor leadership in government, business, and even in the home. We've structured things so that stupid and morally bankrupt people often rise to the top. These people and their practices are often seen as roll models. I don't think we can fix the problem with laws and sadly we can't just kill all the bastards. Is there anything we can do to heal our social situation without falling back to some sort of religion to make the changes?
We have a culture in which it is considered acceptable to be a rotten and corrupt boss. Somehow we need to make this behavior unacceptable, in much the same way as we have made being racist or sexist socially unacceptable. As well as the huge human cost that rotten bosses cause, they cannot help the businesses they work for either.
