That makes a little more sense but is still a pretty stupid idea. It's like the people that want us to compensate Native Americans for the loss of their land. It's to late to make anything up to the people we actually hurt and most of us alive today aren't the people responsible.

Of course I still think we should kill every living thing in Iraq. I might even go so far as to poison the land so nothing could grow. Total war is the shortest route to victory. Very Biblical - kindness has no place in war. It'd be the most effective way to end the war and make sure everyone else was afraid of us. After we kill everyone, I'd be okay with compensating the survivors. Pretty easy if there are none.
I think you mean to say "the people of Guam." It is long, but you can read the TOC from the PDF document at the URL above and then turn to page 23 and start reading there. The US blocked Guam from receiving reparations from Japan, then several mistakes were made. You will then read that there was a long history of attempts to get money to the people of Guam. "The Guam War Claims Review Commission Act was signed by the President on December 16, 2002 and became Public Law 107-333." The idea is to compensate the people of Guam for being screwed by the United States, not by the Japanese.

Sadly, most of the people will be dead by the time any money is handed out. It should have been done right years ago.

Of course, your claims did not make sense because they were completely wrong. Did you get this from Fox News or some conservative blog?

Next time you read that the Democrats are doing something utterly crazy and inexplicable, give them the benefit of the doubt - think critically and skeptically. You can do it.
