Not a stupid idea. The realm of politics was NEVER meant to be a career especially in the federal level. People holding political positions should spend more time in there state working, talking, ect with the people they are supposed to be representing then in Washington DC.


It isn't stupid as a goal, but the idea tht you can simply remove everyone from their seats of power is silly. One of our *really* big problems is that power is self-perpetuating and there is an enormous investment of the powerful in maintaining the status quo that put them in power.

Look what happened to term limits. Who is going to vote himself out of office? See, it was tried and it failed.
