I don't get it. Is that really all they have to offer? It looks like the
reviewers missed that important point. In a way, it is a scam: You
upload 1 GB of files, say, and think they are securely stored for free,
which is true until you try to access a file and find out that you have
exceeded your 1 GB monthly limit. That is, you will have to pay to access
your data.
True, but another piece of news here was that somebody was offering
remote hosting at costs that weren't completely bizarre.

That's pretty amazing. It sounds like MediaMax has totally broken down.
Eeuw. The certainly seem to have had a crappy 2006, that's for sure.
In any case, we know that Google *could* do this right, so the fact
that they don't (yet) tells me that they haven't quite figured out how
they want to do it.
