It does run on AAA bats as well.

I'm certain that you could use a spare USB cord and a couple of resisters to bring the 5vdc level down to 2.6-3vdc.

I hang mine from one of the clips where you snap the sun-shades in which gives a nice lateral run for the 'antenna' across the direct-sight-line of the car's antenna.


Thanks for all the tips. I think the cig lighter splitter idea would probably work best for me. I can get a 4-way for $15...

The AAA batteries would also be useful at times.
