Just be sure to buy a 3' 'headphone' extension cord to plug between your
device (laptop) and the TuneCast. The antenna is attached to the jack
and this serves to lengthen the antenna and give it wonderful range.
The Tunecast II comes with a cig-lighter power supply and the tuning is
purely digital, so it's absolutely the best of all worlds.
That sounds very cool. The problem I have with it is that I cannot use
the cigarette lighter for both the TuneCast and the laptop simultaneously.
It would be better for me to have something that could extract energy from
USB -- but is that even possible?
That said, it's only $40 and might be very useful.
