We used to have an ethnic gentleman who plagued us in the computer labs
on campus. You always knew what labs he visited (especially in Stanley
Hall where there was only one Men's room near the lab), as while he was
standing at the urinal holding the trouser snake with one hand, he'd be
using the other to dig big nasty green ones out of his nose and wipe
them on the wall.
There wasn't a UC in all the labs who didn't want to kill Mr. Ghee....
for a variety of reasons.

If you ever catch your wife doing it...... well.... it will be a fun
time. I will concur that this is a hygienic issue, but less of a
'gross' one than most people like to make it.
I find the people are the most grossed out about it are the ones most
likely to doing it *grin*.
I'm sure I swallow plenty of snot -- that's what post nasal drip is,
right? So I don't think it is especially harmful, but it is not an
appealing food and it's never all that inconvenient to toss it on the
floor somewhere. Maybe we should be glad that people eat it instead
of flicking it. I especially don't like it when I see that some guy
has stuck one on the wall in front of a urinal. I don't want to look
at that! Now if he had eaten it...
