Capital hill police ordered to fall back so hippies could spray paint
the capital steps with anti-war slogans. It just goes to show that the
new congress is not the same as the old congress
Here's a follow-up:

Similar story from the Moonie Rag:

Anyway, the US Capitol Police Chief denies telling anyone not to make
arrests. He also denies telling anyone to fall back. So the story might
have been false. Apparently, some unnamed reporters claim that some
unnamed officers contradict the Chief's story. Well, who are these
people.
You will probably notice that there are apparent inconsistencies within
these stories. Or maybe Jack Kingman just doesn't believe the Capitol
Police Chief.
Anyway, I'm sure there will be more about this. If you search google
news, you will see that it is an obsession of the Christian right at this
time. They are quite sure that Nancy Pelosi was behind it even though
they have no evidence whatsoever and she was in Afghanistan when it
happened.
