Wonder how much truth there is to this.
1. We pay 15% of every paycheck we get into Social Security.
2. Citizens of the United States have to work 40 quarters (full time I
believe... 10 years) paying into SS before we are even capable of
drawing SS or Disability if necessary.
3. According to an agreement with the Mexican government on Bush's desk
that he is expected to sign into law, the following would become true.
a) If a Mexican citizen has worked for a number of years in Mexico
paying into their equivalent of SS
b) If they come to America legally or illegally and work, legally or
illegally for 18 months and can show proof of it
c) They can then begin claiming Social Security benefits from the
monies that _we've_ been paying in.
If it is signed it comes law with something like 180 days for congress
to put the kibosh on it before it's set in stone.
This man is no longer my president. He is no longer a president of any
of the people who voted to elect him.
I support him on most of the War on Terror, but that's about it.
The secret meetings for "The Transamerican Highway" has me so pissed of
I could chew glass.
Now the Mexican government is rumored to be passing out hand-held GPSs
to those wanting to come to the USA.
