If these are debt numbers, it probably has more to do with the timing
of US treasury auctions and bond redemption schedules. Similarly, the
government always shows big surpluses in some months (e.g., April), so
everybody has learned not to pay much attention to these numbers
unless they are strongly inconsistent with the usual trend.
