Yes, but I can also see a typical conservative reacting badly to Mike's original message, because as well as a critisism of the decisions in this particular case, it also contains an implicit criticism of high salaries in general.


I probably oppose absurdly high salaries. I don't oppose absurdly high incomes. A salary is given to you by other people -- how do they decide how much you should be paid? On the other hand, it should be possible to do such great things that you earn massive amounts of money. I'm fine with that.
