I only spend about $250/year to have our accountant do our taxes which
buys me:

1. Plausable denaibility
2. Spares me something I really like doing (only slightly less than
   drywall).

It sounds like you're spending far more than this on therapy.  Why not
take some advice from your economics class and maximize your returns.
If the accountant eliminates your stress more efficiently, you should go
that route.
