Two words.... Flat Tax.

The longer this gets no traction in the federal house, the more angry I get.

Fortunately, the state house is considering this for this term and it might just pass, bringing us on par with Nevada, and Florida, and I think 10 others, which will really mean an economic boon for our state.

Seriously. The longer that this government just leaves the borders open and gives benefits to illegals, and pays people _not_ to work and to have baby after baby, and continues an abomination like the IRS, the angrier I'm getting.

Though I believe the laws have been amended since, when I donated my
car to the Salavation Army in 2002 they told me I could set the value
for the donation. Since I don't itemize deductions, it didn't really
matter but I thought it was kind of funny I could value a 1988 Cougar
with no rear differential at $10,000 or $15,000 and they didn't really
care.

I think they changed that part of the law a couple of years ago; you can see how it could be abused otherwise. So they might clamp down on me and tell me I can't deduct more than $1K or whatever. I presume all the charities do then is auction these off to dealers and yards.

Your Cougar without a rear differential sounds like a truly remarkable car. :-)
