I know what Kerry said, I know how people on both sides are tyring to
spin it. I was going to stay out of it until you started a new thread
to spread your propaganda because it really isnt that big of deal.

This quote gives some historical context to what John Kerry has said
in the past about the troops. Is what John Kerry said true? Is the
United States Military full of poor black and brown people? The answer
is no.

Here is a quote from a report that proves him wrong:

"Recruits have a higher percent­age of high school graduates and
representation from Southern and rural areas. No evidence indicates
exploitation of racial minorities (either by race or by race-weighted
ZIP code areas). Finally, the distribution of household income of
recruits is noticeably higher than that of the entire youth
population"

As for the "Just doing my job" line. Every soldier in the world has
used that line and that doesn't make them all war criminals.
Suggesting that all soldiers who served in Iraq are because of what
less than 20 did at Abu Ghraib is very closed minded.

I do think John Kerry should give a hand to a few soldiers who need it though:
