Here's something about it:

The thing is, Kerry was talking about Bush. He was basically saying that Bush didn't do his homework and he got stuck in Iraq. He wasn't talking about soldiers. Apparently, the audience new this and they laughed.

The fact is, Bush didn't do his homework. One of the hallmarks of this administration is that they are extremely arrogant and insular. "The Decider" tells people what to do -- he isn't told what to do. The President's men give orders, they don't take ideas from other people. This is why the military has turned against the civilian leadership in the Pentagon. It also explains a lot about policy in Iraq. Why was Paul Bremer selected to lead the regime change efforts in Iraq? Almost unbelievably, it was because he didn't know anything about Iraq and would therefore be untainted by conventional ideas on how to proceed. You really must watch this show:

There's something to talk about. It's a great show. I notice that most people on this list don't watch the great programs that I tell them about. Either that or they watch them and have no comment.
