Well, actually...who cares? This happened days ago, Kerry apologized for the appearance of offense, but said it was the result of him garbling up the telling of a (pretty cheesy, if you ask me) joke. Whether or not you like or agree with any of this, it's quite frankly not important.

This, I think, is in contrast to what Bush has been saying:

"However they put it, the Democrats' approach in Iraq comes down to
this: The terrorists win and America loses."

I think I know which quote I find to be both more offensive and less
likely to be just a gaffe. I mean, he's as much as called Democrats
traitors here, right? Just about says that they are aiding and
abetting terrorists, right? So it's a good thing we have a new law
that lets the president take the next step and deal with these
traitors in pretty much any way he sees fit.

Right?
