I don't know what Kerry did in France, but my oint is that no one need to
anything to be arrested and imprisoned for life. We're doing away with
"innocent until proven guilty" and by allowing the president to choose the
committee that reviews cases, we're letting the cops be the judges. You
just can't throw this kind of a monkey wrench into the works of our legal
system without seriously messing things up. The President becomes all
powerful. Where is the balance of power? Have we all gone mad?
For those of you who like Bush, imagine that a Democrat becomes president
in a few years. Do you want that kind of power in the hands of a
political rival? I sure don't. I don't want anyone, ever, to have that
much power.
