Speaking of tripe -- that's one of the wonderful things I was served in
Ecuador. Tripe soup. It actually tasted fine, er, it had no real taste,
just the taste of the soup. I didn't like the look of it and I didn't
like the consistency, but I can understand why people would eat it. I
don't think it was a common food for them.

Wonderful, isn't it? Maybe slightly better than trip but a bit too salty
for my taste, and at $12 per full guinea pig ($6 for half), it's pretty
pricey for Ecuador.
