A friend has a DVD that she made here in the U.S. of her daughter ice

Australia is "Zone 4" so we need to be sure that the DVD has the
correct format for Australia. I'm also not sure about NTSC v. PAL --
is that an issue for DVD or just for VHS? Anyway, if you guys have a
clue about this, let me know. I have Nero, if that will help me any.
Another possibility is that the DVD, because it was home made, doesn't
have any sort of "zone" built into it, but I really don't know much
about that.
Home burned DVDs are not region encoded. NTSC vs. PAL is an issue, but
many players will do the standards conversion for you. Cheap Chinese
DVD players are most likely to have the conversion built-in.
Cool. So I could just clone the DVD, send it to Australia and hope that
it works. That might be good enough. But it would be safer to get it
into PAL format, however, I have no idea how to do that. Is it difficult?
