as someone who has worked on bids and discussed projects with fera i
can safely say i am not surprised. they were shady from the very
beginning. and, some inside gossip i've heard said a couple of the
owners just ran up big debt on buying "personal" toys instead of
looking for real work.
i cut ties with them after the first project we discussed went south.
they offered me a "consultant" gig but i declined.
last time i was in the store...it was a mess of junk and they hadn't
had a customer in weeks.
it's always disappointing to see fellow tech companies have bad
times...but like i said, i'm not surprised.

Can't find the right people?
Yeah, it probably is pretty hard to find those technicians with
degrees, certifications and know-how for $7.95 per hour.
Of course I know nothing about what they were actually willing to pay,
but experience has shown that if you cannot find qualified candidates
you are either, looking in the wrong places, not paying enough money,
or not willing to work with the "less-than-perfect" candidate.
I mean how hard is it to build computers anyway?
